Rose Geranium. Frankincense. Immortelle Oil. This delightful scent came wafting out of my latest delivery and knew it had to be my favourite Serum Oil from Coast Sydney Botanicals. I saw the other day on the Coast Sydney Botanicals Instagram page they now make their own Maracuja Oil. One of my favourite oils for the face! This prompted immediate action from me… A skin care haul from one of my new favourite brands!

My Skin Care Haul:
This was the enticing and beautiful scent coming from the cardboard box! This orange-hued serum oil contains Jojoba, Rosehip & Seabuckthorn oils which are all perfect for maturing skin types. I am surprised every time I put this on at how quickly it soaks into my skin as I have naturally combination/oily skin so I never expect my skin to love it as much as it does. I love that it does not sit on my skin making me look like a big greaseball.
It also claims to improve complexion аnd create a radiant renewed glow, I would definitely have to concur. It also contains Carrot Seed Oil, which I have not heard much about but assumes this is what helps create the radiant glow with its high content of Vitamin E and C. This is my first time purchasing the full size and it will be forever on my repurchase list. AUD$49.00 for 20ml.
Marigold Herbal Facial Steam
Gosh, I love the smell of this. This herbal facial steam was one of the first products that popped out at me when I was going through and writing my organic & cruelty-free skincare wishlist. I have never had or used a facial steam before but it sounds like something very calming and a great detox for your skin. This facial steam uses dried Calendula, Rose, Hibiscus, Jasmine and Green Tea. It will be a great addition to any winter time skin care regime (See my all natural tips for Winter Wellness here.)
Calendula is the star of this facial steam with its many benefits for the skin and body. For the skin on your face, it can affect blood flow to the skin cells, provide antioxidant protection that reduces the appearance of wrinkles and ages spots, and even the visibility of scars. So if you want smooth, even-toned skin that glows with youthful vitality (who doesn’t!!) then this facial steam is perfect for you! AUD$39.00 for 250ml
I know when I did up my wishlist I had the ROSE: Organic Rose Water + Witch Hazel Toner Mist listed. But since posting my wishlist they have come out with the Moana Face Toner Mist with Pineapple Extract & Coconut Water which is better for my combination/oily skin type. The Rose Toner Mist is better suited to a dry to combination skin type.
This is an oil free toner so it will not dry your skin out. Pineapple extract contains the fruit enzyme ‘bromelain’. It is effective in exfoliant that sloughs off dead cells on the surface of the skin while imparting benefits. It can also act as an astringent, minimising pores. Coconut Waters is an effective brightener for your skin. With the goodness of antioxidants and cytokinin, which have age-defying properties, coconut water is very beneficial in warding off premature wrinkles and keeps your skin younger-looking for a very long time.
Just two sprays morning and night are all you need for this light, non-sticky toner before putting on your favourite moisturiser or facial oil. AUD$28.00 for 50ml
I discovered this oil when I was obsessed with Tarte Cosmetics, but being that they are a major greenwashing brand I will not buy from them anymore. So needless to say I was very excited when I saw that Coast Sydney Botanicals now make their own along with French Plum Seed Beauty Oil. Maracuja Oil is great for dry skin, sun damaged skin and eczema with its rich source of vitamins, minerals and essential antioxidants. It is considered to be an excellent emollient with the ability to moisturise as it easily penetrates deep into the skin while preventing moisture from seeping out.
This beauty oil can be used on its own as a moisturiser or it can be layered with other skin product when you require that extra hydration. I used this after a spritz or two of the Moana toner mist and my skin felt very supple and loved. AUD$28.00 for 20ml
Rosette is a powdered face mask made with French pink clay and infused with Vitamin C. A blend of red Illite clay and white Montmorillonite clay, the pink clay is softening, it soothes sensitive and fragile skin, restores radiance to the complexion and has a healing effect. Most clays have the ability to absorb impurities from the skin, such as dirt, makeup and oil. They also can exfoliate, to help your skin have a youthful look.
Where clays differ is in how much they absorb from the skin. French pink clay is wonderful for nearly all skin types because it doesn’t overly zap the skin of its natural oils. Some clays can be so drying, for example, that unless you’re using a super-hydrating moisturiser afterwards, you can end up experiencing excessive dryness, flaking, and skin reactions like increased acne breakouts and redness. Used regularly, this mask will draw impurities and oils to the surface to be washed away, which will help reduce the appearance of oily skin and clogged pores. The exfoliating and polishing action gradually reduces the appearance of pores and puffiness. AUD$37.00 for 35g
A great find.
I am so happy to have found this brand. I love supporting brands that are not only organic & cruelty-free but committed to environmental sustainability. Glass and PET recyclable plastic bottles are a thoughtful addition to a skin care line that gives priority to quality and celebrates the gifts that nature has endowed upon us. And I haven’t even got to their perfume and candles yet!

I purchased the above products with my own money with the exception of the Rosette Face Mask Powder which was gifted to me by the owner of Coast Sydney Botanicals. I was not asked to give a review of any of these products, I simply love this brand! So you can rest assured that I am a long time supporter of this company and would never recommend anything to my readers that I would not use myself.
