Gratitude Challenge – Days 23, 24 & 25

I have had a couple of days off blogging to change my website from wordpress.com to self hosting through Siteground.  Honestly, the process could not have gone smoother.  Siteground did all the hard work.  I just needed to get the blog looking how I wanted again.  I took the opportunity to change the theme and a few things here and there.  But I am very happy with the outcome, what do you think?  Have you got a wordpress.com site and are daunted by moving to self hosting?  Go with Siteground, you won’t be disappointed!

Anyway back to being grateful!

Day 23 – What tradition are you grateful for?

Last year’s Easter egg hunt

I love that I now have my own family to make traditions with.

  • Easter egg hunting in the backyard with my kids.
  • Having big bunny foot prints leading to the easter eggs for the boys to find in the morning.
  • Working out the Santa biz with my husband was fun.    “Do we give presents or are they all from Santa?” “So who gives what?” “Where does Santa leave them?”
  • Leaving out cookies for Santa and the reindeers.
  • Having a birthday party every year for my boys.

Our kids are only little so we have many, many years to make lots of family traditions together.  I am grateful for the traditions I had when I was little and I am grateful for the traditions I am going to make with own my kids.

What traditions do you have in your own family that you are grateful for?

Day 24 – What challenge are you grateful for?

I am grateful to the challenge that blogging offers me.  I am a stay at home mum so I don’t get too much mental stimulation during the days.  I do miss being a working lady.  I do admit that I did love going to work and having a good chat with all my old work colleagues.  But blogging has brought that back to my life.  Plus the added advantage of doing and talking about topics I am very passionate about.  I have loved doing research into the harmful products in skin care and cosmetics, researching water filter options and learning all about Buddhism.  I love learning and this has been a great way to get back into the swing of things.

Are you a stay at home mum?  What things do you do to keep mentally active?

Day 25 – What moment this week are you most grateful for?

Every moment that I am alive and able to spend with my family is a blessing.

  1. Thank you for posting this! One of our first blog articles was a Gratitude Challenge as well but I like this one you found on Pinterest with 30 specific Gratitude questions. I am inspired to do this in my private gratitude journal. Thank you for sharing and love reading your gratitude challenge entries.
