Gratitude Challenge – Days 15 & 16

What season are you grateful for?

It’s the first day of autumn here but living in Brisbane, Australia that won’t make much of a change to the weather.  Australia has 2 season;  Summer and a very short winter.  Here in Brisbane it is lucky to go under 5c/41f at night in winter.  But I will take that over our humid summers.

I love warm showers on cold winter mornings and snuggling under a doona at night.  Even in summer I find it hard to live without my doona.  I will crank the fan on high just so I can sleep under my doona.

Winter gives us enough of a reprieve from the heat for us to make it through another summer and I am grateful for it.

What about your body are you grateful for?

My hands.

Because of them I can….

Wave hello to a friend.

Cook dinner and bake muffins.

Hold up a good book.

Write my blog.

Drive me anywhere I want to go.

Give my kitty and puppy a good belly rub.

They have the ability to hold my loved ones close.

I’m grateful for my health. I’m thankful that I am able to get up and run. Although I’m out of shape, I’m able to work on that.

  5. Lucky you for having a long summer! We have four seasons in Canada, winter being the longest.

  6. There are so many things to be grateful for today, I’m just thankful right now for my eyes because I can see how beautiful the sunrise is!
